Description
Framed diecast scale model of Auto Union Type D GP car, the ultimate version of the rear-engined monster from Zwickau. For 1938 and '39, the team used the 3 litre V12 and scored some successes but were generally still second best to the rival Mercedes cars.
The Minichamps model is framed with a mounted photo of Tazio Nuvolari on his way to winning the Donington Grand Prix in 1938
