Round 13 of the 1990 500 GP Championship took place at Brno in
Czechoslovakia before an ecstatic crowd of 100,000 fans. Some
spectacularly tight, fast racing was on the menu with Wayne Rainey
(Yamaha), Wayne Gardner (Honda), Eddie Lawson (Yamaha) and Kevin
Schwantz (Suzuki) all on 'maximum attack'. But it was a superb Wayne
Rainey, who thirty years ago today, would go on to take victory and
secure his first ever World Championship title!
