GPBox, the number one marketplace for motorsport sellers worldwide, has announced a partnership with CharityStars that will bring products from its sellers to the leading global auction provider. With over 30,000 auctions per year on the site, CharityStars supports over 1000 charities and has a goal to raise $100m annually for good causes.
Created in 2018 by former Renault F1 engineer Pol Sancho, GPBox has grown rapidly to become the largest platform of its kind, with over 70,000 products currently listed by 450 sellers in 50 countries. By attracting the motorsport community to a single platform, GPBox has quickly become the world’s leading marketplace for some of the most desirable art and memorabilia available as well as official motorsport merchandise and accessories.
A selection of these products will now be sold via individual online auctions on CharityStars, taking the products to its estimated customer base of over 200,000 and raising crucial funds for a selection of charities including Unicef, Two Wheels for Life and War Child.
Pol Sancho, Founder of GPBox said: “This is a big moment for GPBox. I’m incredibly excited to not only be dramatically expanding our reach through this partnership but to be working with a business that provides a lifeline to many different charities. It feels like very much a win, win. Our sellers get exposure and sales opportunities to a vast audience and CharityStars get unique gifts, artwork, and memorabilia to auction and raise vital funds.”
Kirsty Harwood, Managing Director for CharityStars UK added: “We are delighted to be partnering with GPBox, this will help us not only expand our Motorsport Category, it also help us to raise vital funds needed for our charity partners.”
